Im a fan not a stalker

So I did a NYC directory search for Sedaris, A. The following address came up for (could it be?!?!!?) the one and only Amy Sedaris:

50 W 9 St, Manhattan, NY 10011

I know she lives in Greenwich Village and this address is in that neighborhood. Should I ditch the MOMA and the shopping and find a cafe outside her apartment? I can wait it out I think. But what would I say? Do you think she would be scared if I told her she was my American Idol? Honestly its like this... Madonna, Thom Yorke (not american I know) and Amy Sedaris.
